Road Rally To Arethusa Farm with Pound Ridge Organics & Slow Food Metro North

Pound Ridge Organics

Pound Ridge, NY

Admission: Free

Join Pound Ridge Organics for a Road Rally to Arethusa Farm where we will be given a private tour of the dairy and cheese caves by cheese expert, Doug Jacknick. After the tour we will enjoy a cheese tasting and a delicious seasonal lunch in the café.

Leading the Road Rally is Steve Wolfe, avid cyclist & BMW car club ride leader. He has mapped out a scenic auto route for us with point of interest stops along the way.

Donna Simons, owner of Pound Ridge Organics, the only Animal Welfare Approved and Certified Humane Farm in Westchester County NY, will be on hand to discuss the importance of supporting local farms; and how humane animal care and minimal processing results in better tasting - more nutritious food for ourselves and families.

Directions to start point will be provided when you RSVP. We will all ride in tandem to the farm with stop points along the way. The ride to the farm is approximately 1.5 hours. Road Rally, Farm Tour and Cheese Tasting is FREE for members of Pound Ridge Organics and Slow Food Metro North. Lunch is self pay.
