Matthaei Botanical Gardens
Ann Arbor, MI
Each year, Slow Food chapters around the country hold free annual meetings and invite their communities to join them for for a little cheer and good company (over food, of course). This time also provides a chance for us to share what we work on throughout the year, and celebrate the community’s Slow Food milestones to date. We’re so excited to once again be partnering with the Ann Arbor Backyard Beekeepers for our annual meeting, which means you get to learn about our efforts, but also about A2B2 – a two-for-one!
Here’s a sneak preview of the schedule:
6:00 – Potluck dinner
7:00 – Presentations by Eileen Dickinson of the Bee City Project on bee-safe neighborhoods and by Erica Kempter of Slow Food/Nature and Nurture Landscaping and Seeds on edible bee-pollinated foods in the Ark of Taste and/or permaculture categories.
