Slow Food Celebrates Earth Day at Whole Foods Market

April 19 is Slow Food Day at Whole Foods Market, and in honor of Earth Day April 22 we will be giving away free heirloom and Ark of Taste seeds at the Slow Food info booth. In addition, we will have Slow Food chefs offering cooking demos throughout the day, a presentation on biodiversity and the Ark of Taste, and a kids seed planting activity. Whole Foods Market will donate 5% of sales that day to support the programs of Slow Food North Louisiana.
